Being a streetstyle photographer, I'm lucky enough to be able to say that finding the nooks and crannies of this amazing city is part of my job remit, and although I get so much enjoyment doing it, I rarely actually have to time to wander in my own time. This week I had a long overdue meet up with fellow mens blogger Jordan (go give him a follow!) and it was so nice to wander around the old city without a real purpose. We started off at the London Bridge Grind, before heading across the river to grab some photos.

As it was a really mild day, I opted for my hugely under-used Percival light jacket, paired with Topman trousers and Office trainers. The financial district is always a fun place to shoot when it's clear blue skies. The contrast made by the colossal skyscrapers between light and dark can make for some really interesting photos, so we tried to exploit that as much as we could. There's something quite soothing about taking your camera out for the day with the aim of making a post, and ending up with photos that don't really fit in with each other. As somebody who is't the greatest wordsmith, to be able to let the photos do the talking kind of helps with the writing side anyway, almost as visual cues to remind myself of what I actually got up to.

As anyone who knows me will know, I don't drink coffee. I made the mistake of making my first coffee last year a double espresso (it was the only coffee I could remember the name of) and was practically vibrating for the following few hours. But seeing as we ended up in a coffee shop just off of Brick Lane called Nude that seemed a place that I would get coffee beans and a fix bike thrown at me if I had the cheek to order a juice, I thought I'd be adventurous and order a coffee.

I get it. I honestly do appreciate the flavours of coffee and understand why people love it, and I have no problem drinking it, but I also appreciate the taste of um bongo, doesn't necessarily mean I'd choose it over other options. But people seemed to be enjoying themselves inside, so if you're a coffee fan, go for it!
