Hello Everyone!

Just when summer looked to be a mere memory, the sun jumps back up and sends our winter outfits right back into our wardrobes. Luckily, it was still cool enough to don my new Topman retro Planet Hollywood Jacket! Sometimes I think that one standout piece in an outfit can completely transform it, and this jacket turned a basic tee-jeans-boots look into one of my favourite outfits I've posted yet.

I think that retro shopping for guys is even harder than for girls. Smaller collections and options tend to mean that the best pieces get scooped up before you even knew they were there, but that doesn't stop me looking in whatever vintage shp I can find just in case! Although Beyond Retro (especially the one in Brighton) is decent for vintage, and Rokit in Covent Garden is always good for a find, the vintage section in Topman Oxford Street is surprisingly decent for unique pieces. I only assume that as people looking for vintage pieces don't think about it, or the fact that it's tucked away in the corner of the store, but it's always pretty empty, and I was properly happy when I found this jacket, so it's always worth a look, and gives me the authentic Slaves band look!

Have a great week!

  1. Didn't realised you got it in TM vintage section. Nice one man.

    Buckets & Spades

  2. I absolutely adore denim jackets and I love the look of this vintage one, is this the we are cow concession in Topman? It's so nice the sun made an appearance again isn't! I'm not ready for winter to come, I love the summer too much x

  3. Nice fit man, the jacket definitely is the cherry on top and easily transforms a basic look. I got an amazing vintage Lacoste cardigan from the TM vintage section once upon a time... Should really look there again but I always forget about it being there.
