Hello everyone! This is a bit scary isn't it? If you've read my about page (which, let's face it, you probably haven't) you'll know I've been thinking of starting a blog for a while. Despite my genuine growing love for all things photography and style, and possibly the best helper I could dream of with Liv, taking that first step to put yourself out there is always a daunting one (it has taken be about half an hour staring at the screen to type this many words), so go easy on me! As mentioned in my about page, and what hopefully this post will hint upon; there will hopefully be a bit of style, a bit of photography, and a lot of general lifestyle stuff too!

As some people who follow Livvi's blog will know, i've been the photographer for her for as long as her blog's been going, so to be on the other side of the lense was a bit surreal and nerve wracking (Livvi is a lot more patient then I am!). But we braved on through the streets around 7 dials and finally got a few snaps that weren't all of me looking like I'd just had a vision of a dystopian future, and the first time nerves were quelled. After looking through some of the local shops, and Livvi trying one or five things on in Orla Kiely, it was time for some food.

I'm going to admit, I'm not a massive fan of tea. My hatred of all things mayo limit my sandwich options and I haven't eaten a scone since I was a boy, so afternoon tea is never really on the top of my list when trying to find a bit to eat up town. But when Liv told me that one of our favourite restaurants in the city, Balthazar (my god their burgers) had just started an afternoon tea menu of their own, I thought there probably wouldn't be a better oppurtunity to ignite my love for the most British of British traditions.

Although I'm not a personal lover of it, I have to say that if you are that way inclined then you should definitley hit it up! The chicken and apricot sandwiches were insane, and the scones left me wandering what other goodies my mother was denying me as a teenager. Overall Liv and I were full to the brim and it was time to head home.

I'm going to try to blog once a week so if you could subscribe via the bloglovin link below I would be absolutely over the moon (I promise they will get better!) and of course any comments will be greatly appreciated as well :)

Have a great day!

Joseph
